Our History:

Auctions have always been a part of our lives. Raised on a small farm in central New York State we attended auctions with our father who bought and sold cattle along with his trucking business.

In 1997 after graduation from the Missouri Auction School we established LeClar Bros. Auction Service. As our business has grown over the years we incorporated to form the LeClar Bros. Auction Service, LLC. In 2005 we purchased The Gavel Auction Gallery. We are a family business with strong community ties which enable us to understand your family, business and community concerns.

As a full service auction company we customize our services to your specific needs. Whether it’s an estate, business, or real estate auction, we use our professional expertise to plan and manage your liquidation.

There are only five major lifetime decisions for most people; finding a partner, choosing a career, deciding an area to live, buying a house and liquidating your personal (or business) assets. Since most people liquidate only once, it's important to hire professionals to do it right. We have the knowledge, skills, materials and equipment to offer you a complete professional auction service. Our team has membership in the Board of Realtors, the National and New York State Auctioneer Associations. We operate within the various organization's Code of Ethics and participate in continuing education and professional improvement opportunities. and we are one of a handfull of auction companies registered with the Better Business Bureau of Central New York.
